Primarily Online retailers:

Things are often "cheaper" on-line, but you often get dinged with the shipping charges.  I usually stick with Canadian online retailers, to avoid the dreaded Customs and Brokerage fees charged by courier companies. Canada Post offers the most resonable charges for cross boarder broakerage, and they will hold at my local post office as I'm often at work during the day.  Otherwise, I try to stick with Canadian retailers.  Here is a list that I have dealt with:

Robot Shop
Robot parts, Arduino, other microcontrollers
Kits, motors, servos, sensors
Reasonable shipping charges, sent from Montreal area via Canada Post Expedited
(service answers questions quickly, one of my orders was lost once, quickly rectified)

Solarbotics Ltd.
